USER FEEDBACK

What Travelers Are Saying

The radar scoring made me look at Maya properly for the first time. The 180-day guarantee and multi-network selection are genuinely better than what I had been using. I still use Voye for Latin America because of the Caribbean coverage but Maya is now my Europe default.

I appreciate that SimRadar does not give Voye a perfect score in everything. The Asia plan variety score being lower than Airalo is accurate - I ended up using Airalo for a Japan-only trip and Voye for the wider Asia circuit. Both have a place.

Saily's security tools are not on the radar categories but they should influence the decision for anyone working from public Wi-Fi regularly. The NordVPN bundle alone is worth the premium over a basic data plan.

Nomad's annual plan is the right answer for someone who boards more than 150 flights a year. The support limitations are real but if you know the product well enough you rarely need support.

Scoring 2/10 on throttling honesty is fair. I found out about the fair-use threshold in week two of a month-long Spain trip. That information should be on the purchase page.

ABOUT

About SimRadar

Roaming charges are steep, local SIMs are a hassle, and travel eSIMs, while a smarter alternative, come with a problem of their own: too many options, too little clarity. Every provider makes bold promises. Few make them easy to verify. That's exactly the gap SimRadar was built to close. We don't just list eSIM providers. We score them. Across 9 carefully chosen categories, including coverage breadth, pricing transparency, hotspot policy, throttling honesty, and support accessibility, we evaluate every provider against the same rigorous standard. No guesswork. No sponsored rankings. Just data you can trust. Eight providers. 54 data points. 100% independent. Every score on SimRadar is sourced from publicly verifiable information, so you can see exactly why a provider ranks where it does. Whether you're a frequent flyer or a first-time traveler, SimRadar gives you the clarity to pick the right eSIM before you board, not after you land.
